BAND PROGRAM
Seventh grade students continue to build on the fundamental skills that they have learned throughout their 5th and 6th grade time. More advanced literature, in addition to more frequent performance opportunities, including festival and contest events will be part of this grade.
Similar to 7th grade students, 8th grade students will further develop their musicianship skills by demonstrating even more control of their instrument and general musical knowledge. Solo contests, band festivals, and frequent performance opportunities are a vital part of this year.
