MUSIC PROGRAM
Seventh Grade Music Appreciation explores music of multicultural instrument history around the world. Students will explore and experience playing basic guitar, ukulele, and piano. Students will research and study the basic elements of musical theater throughout a nine-week exploratory rotation.
Eighth Grade Music Appreciation II explores music in the era of Rock N’ Roll History from the time frame of the 1950’s-1980’s. Students will continue to explore and experience playing the guitar, ukulele, and piano. Students will explore and study a selected broadway musical theater masterpiece that is related to Language Arts and History.
